Heliopolis Set

This is a bohemian, handmade crochet 2-piece set in a 70s festival / resort style.

The Top:
• Cut: One-shoulder, asymmetrical cropped top with a pointed hemline. It's fitted and leaves the midriff exposed. • Construction: Made from crocheted granny squares stitched together. Each square has a different circular floral / sunflower motif in the center. • Details: The bottom edge has short, loose tassel fringe in matching colors, and the whole piece has an open-work, lacy texture.
The Skirt:
• Cut: A long, wrap-style maxi skirt tied at the side waist. It has a very high slit on the left leg that goes up to the upper thigh. • Construction: Same granny-square crochet technique as the top, so the set matches perfectly. • Details: The wrap edge, the side tie, and the bottom hem are all finished with longer multi-colored fringe tassels. The interior of the slit is lined / open, so the crochet pattern is visible through.

Earthy, retro tones — mustard yellow, burnt orange, olive green, chocolate brown, cream and white

To launder the suits:

I recommend handwashing the crochet beachwear in lukewarm water using mild detergent (do not use Woolite or any type of bleach!)
Our suits do not do well in the washer or dryer - even on delicate cycles.
To dry: Please do not wring! Lay The crochet beachwear flat.
