The Garden Sweater

This is a colorful, handmade-style crochet patchwork turtleneck sweater — very boho / 70s granny-square style.

Construction & fit:
• Oversized, boxy pullover with dropped shoulders • High turtleneck collar, also made from small crochet squares • Long sleeves with thick ribbed cuffs in burnt orange • Ribbed hem in mustard yellow at the waist • Appears to be chunky wool or acrylic yarn, with visible hand-crochet texture 
Design:
• Made from 20+ different granny squares stitched together, each with its own motif • Large statement square on the upper left chest: a spiral sun in mustard, cream and terracotta • Other squares include: daisies, sunflowers, leaves, abstract mandalas, geometric circles, and small floral clusters • Patchwork layout — no two squares are the same 
Color palette:
• Warm autumnal base: mustard yellow, burnt orange, terracotta • Accents in teal, turquoise, magenta, fuchsia, deep purple, olive green, cream and pink • Very eclectic, maximalist color mix

INSTRUCTIONS:
Hand wash (max 36F/30C) and lay flat to dry.
Our items do not do well in the washer or dryer - even on delicate cycles.
To dry: Please do not wring! Lay The crochet item flat. Never put your crochet item in a dryer!
Avoid contact with suntan lotions and rough surfaces such as concrete or wood.
